About

I am an experimentalist and employ optical spectroscopy to explore the properties of high Tc superconductors and topological insulators. Currently, I am studying the magneto-optical properties of the topological insulators BiSb and Ca-Bi{2}Se{3} and the nanoscale optical properties of the metal-to-insulator transition in WVO2. Previous projects include a doping-dependent study of cuprate superconductor La{2-x}Sr{x}CO{4} in magnetic fields and characterization of the pnictide superconductor BaFe{2-x}Co{x}As{2}. I have also assisted the development of novel near-field microscopy techniques and the design and construction of various experimental equipment.
